The city is in the midst of another heat wave (Sept. is the normal hottest month here) as I chill with BBQ hot dogs, potato salad and pork rinds, binge watching season 2 of Star Trek: Prodigy, doing my best to tune out all the continuing and breathless bedwetting over Pres. Biden having a bad debate night last week cause his cold medication made him sluggish. Anyway...

It went by so fast, but today marks the first month in the new base camp. I'm rewriting the scripts for the first few episodes of the video blog, but I'm still having problems working around the noises from the other residents near me - the first episode at the very least has to be recorded inside my unit, but I'll keep working on it...
Meanwhile, I decided after all to put the lesser trailer and camp kitchen gear into storage. I'm not at all ready to go bikepacking until I do that half day scouting ride to Pacifica Sate Beach and a full day ride down to Half Moon Bay...
