Magnetofunky: Walkabout is a laid back (and often explicit - you bet your ass) personal journal of extremely eclectic music and progressive politics, with a focus on mobile energy independence and creative West Coast wanderlust. The show (so far) chronicles my preparations to leave the safe confines of a brick and mortar SRO to discover California outside of Los Angeles and San Francisco, attempting to expand my definition of personal freedom via open ended bike tours of the West Coast... The mobile power plant I created is a working 100W model Battery Operated Self-Charging System, a modification of a device patented by Carlos F. Benitez 100 years ago. A 1000W system is also possible... Center Stage accepts submissions of almost any genre from great bands and artists the world over, whether big name or indie, as long as I like the beat and flow.
