Matchbox Studio
(07/09/16)
Ok, it's been a month now since art school ended and my stones ain't gonna finish themselves, and to be efficient and not wear out my hands I need to use the power tools more, but before sending more chips flying or generating dust, I need one more tweak for the studio...
I decided on pvc pipe and plastic drop cloths to make a 5ft. x 7ft. cube that will be my studio industrial space - a dirty room, paint room, etc. Inside it I can be as messy as I want within reason and clean it up fast...

One side done. The clips on the vertical pipes are extras for when the top clip pops out of your fingers...

With a foot of slack on the edges, the floor is covered...

The other drop cloth is attached. The space is small but not cramped, just fine for rough carving...

The ceiling doesn't hurt the headroom either. For actual use, the drop cloths should be 3-4 mil and I'll cut a 6x6-ft square for the roof. Cool...
